Most driver love open space, so they can fill it. When they have exhausted the open space in their lane, they change lanes to find more. Some drivers' driving goal is mismanage their open space and stop or take open space away from other drivers. Their rule is if you aren't occupying all the space in front of you, we are allowed to take their space. When we use it and stop, someone else is at fault, because we are trying to move faster than everyone else. This a "Fillers" mentality. Filling every bit of open space to go faster leaves no room to move. It causes a TRAFFIC JAM.
It is a fact that when you keep moving, space is infinite. All "Fillers" are doing is using all the open space and complaining that other drivers are changing lanes, merging, cutting them off, braking or stopping. There is nothing wrong with the world of traffic jams when drivers fill space & stop.
Traffic Commute is looking for Space Managers. Space Managers do something that can upset the drivers that are constantly filling open space. They keep open space ahead of them, and keep their vehicle moving or in a position to move sooner. To drivers that constantly fill, keeping open space is the worst thing you can do to them. They see open space and they can't fill it.
Space Manager drive a way that for "Fill" drivers is frustrating. They don't block other drivers from changing lanes, they don't brake, and they don't stop traffic. They don't brake when the vehicle ahead of them brakes. They don't speed to red traffic lights to brake harder, arrive sooner, wait longer and block the road, so other drivers have to stop. They don't speed into stop traffic to lengthen the backup and force other drivers to sit idling as fuel exhaust exits out their tailpipe. Space Managers are there to improve traffic flow and they don't care how many people they help to get to their destination cheaper, easier, faster, & safer than the "Fill" drivers.
Traffic jams are very similar to the Civil Rights movement. Most people thought the issue was to big to change, there one voice did not matter, and the current way was acceptable. There was no action until the Civil Rights movement showed how things could and should be better for all. The same can be said for traffic jams. If someone wanted to change the Civil Rights situation, people would say "We can't change it. It has been this way for a long time." Traffic get the same answer. Fast driver believe other driver should get out of their way. Road conditions; space, speed, and capacity, mean nothing. Do you want the system to be fair and just for all or should certain individuals take advantage of others and do what works best for them and them alone?
On 10/1/18, a "Fast" driver honk his horn and passed me. He thought I was slowing him down. He quickly arrived at the red light that I knew was red and stopped. At that point, he is blocking the lane and slowing me down. I timed the light and arrived, when it turned green. I honk at him to move, since he was stopped. He moved. I think got mad and was waving his arms around in anger, I assume. If you do something to others, it is only fair that everyone can do it to you. Isn't that fair and just. He was in a hurry, but he found the time to go slow down to try to complain to me. I had to turn to get to my job.
By taking no action to improve traffic flow, things are getting worse and worse. Since few people see what was truly wrong, the majority controls the minority. "Fill" drivers far out number space managers. When Civil right workers took actions to stop the injustice and unfair practices, they were harassed and threatened. Keep open space ahead of you in "Rush Hour" and see the reactions you will get. Being right when others think you are wrong is not well receive, but it is rewarding to save others time & money.
If you want to make traffic better, which will reduce transportation costs, reduce pollution, save time, save natural resources, improve the economy, reduce inflation, make our road last longer, allow us to get caught up with road repair, and keep more money in our bank accounts, being an active space manager can make it happen. In the U.S., we are wasting 1 to 2 trillion dollars by blocking, braking, stopping & waiting. "Fill" drivers counter argument is "I'm ahead of you.", "Because I can", & "Me first". Space Managers' job is to reduce blocking & braking. If you don't have blocking & braking, you stop & wait less.
SPACE MANAGERS ARE SORELY NEEDED, NOW. We have a class and information for anyone who is willing to stop filling space and keep their vehicle in motion. If you are interested in learning how to be a SPACE MANAGER, please request a class, we can setup a webinar, a class, a seminar, or a town hall meeting. We need people willing to take simple actions to help themselves and save the planet.
One person is $75.00.
Group discounts are possible.
